Parent & Teacher Testimonies

Five years ago, what started as an experiment to determine our four-year-old's interests has resulted in a continually growing love of dance.  Now, with two daughters taking a combined eight dance classes, we spend a lot of time at Triple Threat and have found it to be a very welcoming environment.  Kim's and Holly's attention to the students from the three-year-olds to the high schoolers is unparalleled.  They also make great strides to get to know the parents.  We highly recommend Triple Threat to anyone looking for a combination of high quality instruction combined with personalized attention and service.

My Testimonial as a Mom of Triple Threat Student

In 1st grade my daughter enrolled in drama class at Triple Threat Dance Studio. She loved Mrs. Diana. I was so impressed with the recital in June that we enrolled Emily in ballet, jazz, tap, hip hop and of course drama!
By the 3rd grade Emily was taking almost every class offered. In fourth grade Emily decided she would like to learn the play the piano and she did. Emily tested below grade level in math in the 3rd grade and by 5th grade she scored in the 90 % in math state testing. I truly believe that learning to read music helps in learning math skills.
This past recital Emily performed a singing solo in French! Her high self esteem and confidence levels are a direct result of the awesome teachers at triple threat dance center.
Congratulations Kim and Holly on 10 years of success! I know Emily will continue dance classes at triple threat for many more years to come.
I recommend triple threat to everyone I meet. I brag about how wonderful every aspect of the dance studio truly is. My daughter and I feel like part of the family.

Sit back and enjoy the show!
A parent’s tribute to Triple Threat Dancenter’s 10th Anniversary Recital
By: Robin Bralley

I find myself sitting alone at what will be my oldest daughter’s first performance of her last dance recital at Triple Threat Dancenter. It may very well be the first time I have sat alone in a long time at one of these. I usually spread out bringing various friends and family members to each performance, but this year they’re all coming to the Saturday evening performance. I settle into my seat with maybe the best view I have EVER had of the stage. No interruptions of any kind…just me and the performance. Coincidentally, it is the 10th anniversary of the opening of their studio, and my girls have been with them all ten of those years. Needless to say, it is going to be a special night for many reasons. I’m not quite sure why it is always such an emotional experience for me, but year after year, the tears seem to flow a little too freely. And it’s not only my own daughter’s dances. I’m sure those sitting around me are thinking, “get a hold of yourself, woman!”

Perhaps it’s the music; it has a way of moving me like no other art form can. Perhaps the facial expressions and varied level of concentration of the dancers, from “serious business” to “let’s just have fun.” Watching the progression of the dancer’s abilities from year to year, those first-year classes couldn’t be more precious! Perhaps it’s a combination of all of the above, but as I sit here alone, lost in all the sweet memories over the years, I am eternally grateful for the experience. Grateful for Kim & Holly who dreamed of opening a dance studio. And for teaching my girls to dance so beautifully and to share that talent for the benefit of others over the years. Grateful for daughters who never fell out of love with dance, so that I would have this among so many other things to remember about their childhood.

Their 10th anniversary recital was a compilation of favorite dances from years past and one of the most memorable shows yet. At the end of the night, I was ready to “sit back and enjoy the show” one more time!

We love Triple Threat Dancenter!  Holly, Kim and the staff have taken my daughters natural interest in music and movement and are helping her develop it into a skill to confidently express herself through dance.  The weekly classes have taught her that hard work and dedication pay off, the opportunities to perform throughout the year have given her a true appreciation of the arts, and the summer camp gave her an opportunity to try out different styles of dance and performance.  We also love the opportunity Triple Threat has taken to show our daughter and the other students of Triple Threat the importance of using personal skills to give back to the community through their annual Dance Benefit. Triple Threat Dancenter has been a wonderful experience for our child.

This past Friday evening, my wife and I had tickets to the above program and we were very pleasantly pleased at the entire event. The talent and dedication displayed by all of the participants was just absolutely superior and very enjoyable. It was absolutely amazing to see the talents of all those that participated and if we had to grade this program on a scale of 1 to 10 with 10 being the best, we would rate it a 9.9 and that is because nothing done by people is perfect. As we enjoyed the event, we could not help but think of the amazing amount of time, work and talents that it took from many folks to put this presentation together. Those participants that had solo parts did just a fabulous presentation and to watch an individual on a large stage in front of a packed crowd of people with seemingly no outward fear was just simply amazing. We send just a great big THANK YOU to everyone who had a part in making this event possible!

Triple Threat is a wonderful dance center for people of all ages and abilities. A variety of music is incorporated throughout various art forms including dance, creative movement, voice, and drama. Miss Kim and Miss Holly take the time to listen to student/parent needs and requests. I feel like they do a wonderful job of placing each individual student in classes that fit their talents, while still challenging them to their fullest. Everyone's dedication and hard work comes through during the awesome recitals at the end of the year!

The influence that Triple Threat has had on my daughter Alex Davis is powerful. The natural tendency for Alex is to be shy and content to leave the limelight to others. She is from a long line of talented "behind the scenes" people. Alex has become a poised and confident young lady in the success and the education that she has enjoyed as a dancer with Triple Threat.

I danced with Triple Threat for three years, and I have assisted them with teaching for the pas year. Compared to my experiences with other studios, Triple Threat has the widest variety of classes and the friendliest teachers. Triple Threat provides an encouraging environment for aspiring performers and for those students dancing for pleasure. Both Holly and Kim inspired me to take my dance training to the next level. In classes they pushed me to my highest ability and encouraged me to seek out every dance opportunity. Holly and Kim even took a group of advanced dancers to New York one summer to take classes and to see Broadway shows. Their dedication to their profession has allowed them to establish a wonderful studio. Not only does Triple Threat focus on dance technique, but performance qualities and class etiquette as well. I have seen myself grow as a dancer while attending Triple Threat along with my classmates and younger dancers. I would recommend dancers of any age to come to Triple Threat Dancenter.

Triple Threat DanCenter threw the best birthday party ever since I was born. I had the best time of my life with some of my 10 best friends doing a dance a few party games and a treat. Ever since I started dance here I have never had fun like this! I hope more people have fun like me, so please call (336) 794-3942 to have the best time of your life!
